- Library classes meet once per week for 40 minutes. Students may also visit the library during open checkout times throughout the week.
Library classes consist of a common core aligned lesson, book checkout, reading, and AR testing. Students will be introduced to a variety of fiction and nonfiction text throughout the school year. They will participate in genre studies, research projects, skill building, collaborative team work, and using technology for information collection, organization, and presentation.
Students are always welcome in the library!
I live in Gilbert with my husband, two boys, 3 dogs and 3 goats. We love to travel and spend time with family and friends. Besides reading, I also love technology and learning new ways to implement technology into classroom instruction. Before I became a Librarian I taught several different grade levels as well as adults. I have over 20 years of experience in education and curriculum development.
There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love of books is the best of all.
